Description
A monarch sets near the door handle to a neighborhood coffee shop. Patrons were notified to watch they did not harm the butterfly. On the second night as I was showing a friend the images the butterfly flew off towards the busy street in the lower garden district. I stopped traffic to prevent the monarch from being killed. The butterfly took hold of my finger and is now on a palm front on the sidewalk in front of the coffee shop. It seems unusual for an insect as a butterfly to be active during the night hours, the butterfly did not seem injured or sickly just an active night butterfly......patrons entering and leaving were notified of the monarch not to harm it.....
