Gallier Hall is a historic building on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the former New Orleans city hall, and continues in civic use. Built 1845–1853, it is a nationally significant example of Greek Revival architecture, and one of the finest works of architect James Gallier. A historic site over the years during Mardi Gras, as the different krewes roll from the Uptown Garden District, Kings and Queens toast the Mayor, distinguished guest and parade reveloers from viewing standings which weeks before Mardi Gras are errected along the parade route.
The Traditional Mardi Gras is canceled 2021 though a different and new Mardi Gras visitors can travel all throughout the city and view private homes and commercial buildings designed as House Floats.
