One of a gallery series New Orleans Graffiti Speaks Louder Than Words, while on a photo op in the Marigny neighborhood riding my bike I stumbled upon this message on the side of house. Over the years I have documented the progression of various signs, murals, graffiti in public view., some are mind provoking, expression of speech etc. I was not certain if this was a private residence or a neighborhood community office.....years ago there was a residence in the Upper Garden District on St. Charles Avenue, the home owner place a large sign on his property and because of ordinance and the verbiage used, the city of New Orleans took swift action to have the homeowner remove his message. Because of the historic garden district association though the homeowner was expressing freedom of speech it did cause news media and locals to get a photo of his sign. The sign was taken down......
