Description
This aged leather bound leather travel desk belonged to Rev. M Dermody or Rev W Dermody, both of Irish descent. And both priest and A Thomas Dermody who happens to be the famous Poet from Irelans, The connection of this amazing travel desk and it belonging to an ancestor Rev D. Richard Needham an heir of mine. He traveled to America and was a Catholic Priest, The antique travel desk belonged to Either or Rev. M or W Dermody, This is Historic Connections, A Thomas Dermody his mother was a Kennedy Dermody, if this is so, as my sister confiremd a few years ago while visiting Ireland and the still living heirs of he Needham farm, John F. Kennedy the President of the United States an heir of his marrried a Needham and She is burried in the abbey on the farm, in Roscrea, Ireland. The bottom the travel desk opened in three sections, the bottom holding the antique pen tips, antique ink well. Rev. D. Richard Needham and heir to me was responsible for planting a grove of Live Oaks here in Louisiana named the Needham Oaks. The local newspaper wrote a wonderful story pertaining to the Needham Oaks which will be included here in the photographer notes. This a new series Locked Memoirs. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 macro zoom, natural lighting. This photo reveals a mysterious appeal, abstract and minimalist art.. The Historic connection may well be the connection of Rev. M or W Dermody being of Irish descent and marrying a Kennedy who in married a Needham, Thomas Needham was my grandfather who passed soon after world war I and Rev D Richard Needham being a uncle. The memoirs remain locked until the mystery is solved. As I grew up here in New Orleans I would hear stories that through marriage not blood I was related to John F. Kennedy the President of The United States an heir of his married into the Needham Family.. The desk is engraved etched into the brass oval inlay which reveals a handle as well to carry the traveling desk. The desk belonging to Rev. W or M Dermody is indeed a bother and connected to Thomas Dermoday the famous 1700 Irish Poet...his original photo with others to be introduced will be an ideal collection of photos for a study, office, or library and private collector. A future novel by the photographer to be released in the near future.
