One of a new gallery series Mardi Gras 2021 House Floats
The traditional Mardi Gras 2021 was canceled in New Orleans, LA due to Covid -19 and its social distancing mandates. A new Mardi Gras tradition originated to assist the float designers who work on the lavish Mardi Gras floats throughout the year.
There were a total of over 3,000 homes throughout the city, across America and around the world. Some neighborhoods homeowners decorated there houses and tossed Mardi Gras beads from the front yards to the vehicles driving by.
Homeowners allowed artist to decorate their homes and others created there own themes.
