Description
Here the Work of Art rest on her side exposing her keel after the tidal surge from Hurricane Rita receeded. The crashing around in the dock caused a gash in her side. It took time but the gash was repaired and she was hoisted by crane and placed back into the water where she belongs. The hurricane came ashore in Beaumont Texas USA. just about two weeks after Hurricane Katrina which devastated New Orleans, Louisiana.
