As I was sitting on my stoop here in New Orleans, Louisiana this beautiful cat with smudges all over its face, peered behind an .elephant ear plant.In amazement when I saw it had one blue and one green eye, I slowly got up trying not to frighten the cat. The moment I got to the door I ran thru the house and snatched the camera. When I returned the cat was
still there for me to capture this photo As soon as I snapped the camera shutter the cat left. I had a friend here in the city, she had gotten a cat from Mississippi, and the cat had a red eye and a green eye and it was solid white and she named the cat Christmas. There are so many things in nature which are unknown to science. There is no doubt in my mind the leaf did not reflect upon the eye of the cat. I never saw the cat again near the house but had this photo of the encounter I had with the One Green One Blue eyed cat.

What a great story of how you captured this photo, Michael! Cats can have one blue and one green eye, it's a genetic thing, and often related to the color of the fur. For instance, an all white cat with blue eyes is almost always deaf. Strange relationships between fur color and defects. L/F
