Description
The authentic smoke house was located in Brookhaven, Mississippi. A long time friends family used this smoke house year round to smoke the meats. The farm was 80 acres and the family at one time had a thriving farm. The family would grow, sell and can the fresh vegetable to use year round. I had the privledge once to have a couple of rows where I planted crops and learned by family members how to can or bottle the gown vegetables. I would go to the farm on weekends and tend to my rows of planted vegetables and amazed how fast they had grown from the week befor. Mankind has lived off the land since the begining of time, from stone age to present. In today's soceity there has been an emphasis on the quality of foods used in homes or commerals establishments. Many cities now have local outdoor co-opps and sell organic foods.
