My grandfather Thomas Needham from Roscrea, Ireland and my grandmother Josephine Reeber German., He may have proposed to her in this photo, Thomas Needham came to America onboard the S. S. Celtic in 1913 a year after the Titanic Sank. He more than likely would have been on board the Titanic but did not sail. and waited a year later to make the journey to America. He became an American citizen and fought in world war one and died years later and because my grandmother true love she was a widow of three girls and raised them alone. Claire, Mary, Eileen. I painstakingly restored this photo of its scratches and imperfections.

What a wonderful story and amazing photo!! You did a great job on it. I love the mood captured and the story behind it. Many women were left without their men after WWI, sadly.
