Description
This amazing two headed carved sculpture is believed to have been used by the King of the Mayans. The king would sit on this two headed jaguar and watch outdoor events in the area of the Governor's Palace. The two head jaguar sits directly in front of the Governor's Palace. The Mayan civilization at Uxmal is the highest elevated parcel of land surrounding the Yucatan area. All areas surrounding Uxmal is flat. The Mayan's are responsible for the calendar as we know it today. The mystery still baffles scientist and archeologist exactly why the Mayan's leave there beautiful Mayan city at Uxmal they built.
