Description
This beautiful birds-eye view of New Orleans, Louisiana was taken from Ochsner Hospital in Upper Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana USA with m HTC mobile phone. This important city in the United States is where the signing of the Louisiana Purchase took place. New Orleans is not just a historic city but a remarkable city because of the history, culture, food and citizens. One of the most devastating disasters took place during the natural disaster here and the surrounding areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. From the muck of being submerged under water this is still one of the most remarkable city's in America. All of its citizens were determined to call New Orleans, Louisiana home once again. I am proud to call New Orleans home.. This was prior to having my first surgery for Glaucoma, I had discovered I was going blind and went to the eye doctor and it was then I found out. Fearing I was going blind from effects of having a brain tumor which was diagnosed back in 1998 I went to my optometrist. Not knowiing if I would loose sight forever I walk to the window to take a look for the last time of my home town New Orleans, Louisiana . Both of my eyes had corrective surgery for Glaucoma. My left eye was first and six months later my right eye.New Orleans, Louisiana USA will be host to both the Super Bowl February 3, 2013 and Mardi Gras February 12, 2013. I am now able to view this wonderful world we live in thanks to modern science and my optometrist and last optometrist have perfect vision today. Since the corrective surgery .I continue to take photos. I do wear over the counter glasses just to bring images closer minimum optical rated will not cause any effect on my vision. My last visit this year I am able to see 20/20 20/40 I use drops but was diagnosed earlier this year I have cataracts but will not worry about that until many years from now this comes with old age I turn 66 November 25. I am being monitored of a side effect my eye doctor has never heard of the symptom. For a few months without notice I see focused like the side effect in the movie Predator or like the ripples after a drop of water make the rings which expand outwards.....they are dumbfounded they are thinking it may be brain related......as the rings you see move outward when water is drop in water this is how my vision occurs when it begins without warning but I still see perfect vision. A possible thyroid complication, last checkup all is normal and remain in perfect health.....

This post Hurricane Katrina of New Orleans rebuilt after the devastating flood. On February 7th just east of New Orleans in a subdivision named East New Orleans devastating by Monster Tornado, amazing no loss of life, yet thousands left homeless and a dozen or so of non life threating inquires. New Orleans will rise once again from the debris from the destruction.
