Description
This photo of The Nunnery at Uxmal site. The architecture upper detail has carved sculptures across the top. My guide Carlos informed me the rooms were used as class rooms. To my amazement a swallow flew into the photo and resembles a falcon or Mexican Quetzalcotl which is a serpent with wings. The bird appears to be flying vertical. This particular structure has been preserved over the years. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 wide angle manual settings.

I think this is where we sat for the nighttime light show at Xumal. The section on the right side of your image was lit up in different colors, which highlighted the zigzag snake image that went across it. This is a beautiful photo! l/f
