Description
A one legged Irish Unicorn stands in front of a store front on Magazine Street in the lower Irish Channel located in the Lower Garden District. Each year the annual St. Patrick's Day is held in the Irish Channel the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, Irish marchers hand out paper flower orange, green and white. Float riders throw out cabbages, carrots, potatoes and green breads to the thousands of onlookers along the parade route.
