If you have no clue when Mardi Gras is any particular year, always count 40 days before Easter Sunday and the frist Tuesday of the 40th day is traditional Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras dates back to the 1870's,,,,Rex the King of Mardi Gras (Carnival) theme song which is always played at the ball is "If Ever I Cease To Love" This photo was taken was a Nikon 820 macro zoom, auto settings.
