Description
This original creation was achieved by using an Olympus OM12 zooming to the profile of the cactus plant. When the print returned from the processor the image composition profile of the cactus created the profile of a woman, the forehead, eyebrow, eye, nose, mouth, and chin. The image was displayed for FAA was enhanced slightly to illuminate slight imperfections of the original print which was scanned. The reproduction of this original in any form or medium is prohibited. A photographer from England whom I had the pleasure of working with when I was in the advertising industry brought this photo to my attention and the illusion it created. He had personally thought this was one of my most brilliant photos. His answer was it creates the illusion of abstract yet black and white. I initial had just taken a macro of the detail of the thorns at the tip of the Cathedral Cactus plant and thought the thorns resembled a caterpillar.
