Copyright Warning Do Not Alter My Photographers Notes: This beautiful spider called my many names is a Argiope Auratia or corn spider, This one was quite large, and had it web between two house here in New Orleans, Louisiana. On many trips in the country I would come across them on trails in the woods.

This spider has a very different body than the traditional zipper spider, but this one also makes a zippers in its web. Nice catch. v
