Description
This macro of the beautiful Bird of Paradise is fully bloomed, its petals create a golden crown. This tropical plant is seen throughout the city here in New Orleans. Home owners are anxiously waiting to see the extent of the extreme frigid weather we experienced about a month ago. Usually our winters are mild, and the plant will remain green, but conditions were brutal on this beautiful tropical plant. This photo was taken with a Nikon 820, macro zoom auto settings.
