This stunning statue holding a shell greets parishioners upon entering St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in San Francisco. The winged statue is holding a shell with holy water. Upon leaving this magnificent church I turned and was in awe of the natural light cast upon the detailed marble statue. This photo part of a series of color and sepia toned photos of my 2,723 mile journey across the south west and west to San Francisco. Telegraph Hill is a short distance from this stunning and detailed Catholic Church. This photo taken was taken with a Cannon EOS 10 5 pixel camera with manual settings. This photo would be ideal for the collector of religious themed photos or greeting cards.
