Description
This ape an Orangutan a series of 6 photos I took while visiting the New Orleans, Louisiana Audubon Zoo and Nature Instutie. In the mid 1980's I observed the Orangtutan Primate and there was an inneration between beast and photographer. The primate was sitting on a branch, he then walked down and found a piece of cardbaord. The ape punched a hole in the cardboard and raised it to his face and started to act like he was taking a photo of me. Then he started to eat the cardboard, when he was finished eating the cardboard, the ape wiped its hands and then went down and found a paper cup and dipped the cup in the water and drank from the cup. Apes are very interestiing animals.
New Orleans is home to the Audubon Zoo and Nature Institute, it is rated as one of the 10 most zoo's to visit in America. You can visit my amazing story at my blog A Day In The Life Of An Orangutang Ape.

Greetings Robin, thank you so much for viewing A Day In A Life Of An Orangutan I appreciate the comments, it is amazing to watch the actions of primates when humans are near. It was amazing to be present with my camera and capture the events which were occurring before my camera lens. Cheers, Michael Hoard Principal Actor, Artist and Photographer
