Dear Michael! I love this photograph and glad that you submitted to the group. It is an iconic image that makes reactivates the collective memory of every one in the world of that sad day, when the towers disappeared together with so many innocent lives. As an expert in the neurobiology of learning and memory, I always ask my students or the audience, if I am giving a talk, whether or not they remember what they were doing, what was happening, and were they were when the first learned of the news of 9/11 and the same thing when they first saw the images in the news. Your photograph is a wonderful tribute to this american symbol and to those who survive in our memories. The point of view, perspective and light effects make this photograph itself difficult to forget! F/V/t/G+/My DFM&N

Great shot Michael. To this day looking at those two towers leaves me almost speechless. I have never been there in person, but I would like to go there once the new towers are finished. v/f
